The Member of Parliament-elect for the Ofoase Ayirebi constituency in the Eastern Region, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has been named the new spokesperson for the New Patriotic Party\u2019s transition team.<\/p>\n
He takes over from Mustapha Hamid, who is also the spokesperson of president-elect, Nana Akufo-Addo.<\/p>\n
The development was announced on Monday at a meeting of the transition team.of the outgoing National Democratic Congress government and the incoming NPP.<\/p>\n
Oppong Nkrumah ditched broadcasting to run on the ticket of the NPP prior to the December 7 polls.<\/p>\n
He however polled 17,141 votes during the general elections and is expected to be in the next Parliament which will start work on January 6 2017.<\/p>\n

According to Akufo-Addo\u2019s transition team, the outgoing administration will hence take all such decisions in consultation with the incoming administration.<\/p>\n
