{"id":277982,"date":"2016-12-19T15:58:35","date_gmt":"2016-12-19T15:58:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=277982"},"modified":"2016-12-19T15:58:35","modified_gmt":"2016-12-19T15:58:35","slug":"ashiaman-npp-cries-foul-over-assemblys-last-minute-contracts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/12\/ashiaman-npp-cries-foul-over-assemblys-last-minute-contracts\/","title":{"rendered":"Ashiaman NPP cries foul over Assembly&#8217;s &#8216;last minute contracts&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The New Patriotic Party (NPP) executives in the Ashaiman Constituency have sent a stern warning to the Ashaiman Municipal Chief Executive to desist from awarding new contracts.<\/p>\n<p>The party indicates that information available to the NPP in the constituency indicates that the incumbent MCE is still signing new contracts with some stakeholders which might bind the incoming administration.<\/p>\n<p>The party\u2019s constituency secretary, Chapman Takyi Kodam addressed the press and noted that \u201cthe current management contract expired at the end of November 2016.\u00a0The Chief Executive of the assembly is pushing for\u00a0the\u00a0renewal of the contract. He wants to give the contract to a known NDC person, our investigations revealed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe advise him, as the Chief Executive Officer of the Assembly to hold on for the new MCE because it is politically incorrect to award a contract at this last hour.
