The song titled &#8216;I dey feel you die&#8217; was performed by Yaa Pono on the BBC&#8217;s <em><strong>Global Beats<\/strong><\/em><strong> <\/strong>program to the displeasure of the owners.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The move was in response to a statement by Suburban Records Tuesday, accusing Pono of claiming ownership of the song.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cWe would like the general public to know Yaa Pono does not own \u201cI Dey Feel You Die\u201d as he claimed in his interview with BBC\u2019s Rita Ray. \u201cI Dey Feel You Die\u201d was penned by Syn, the lead vocalist of Faint Medal and was produced by Kilo, and featured Yaa Pono,&#8221; Suburban stated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Yaa Pono&#8217;s management&#8217;s has set the records straight and absolved the artiste of any wrong doing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">According to the statement the artiste has not claimed ownership of the song but performed it upon the request of the BBC&#8217;s DJ Rita Ray.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;Further to the press release distributed yesterday by Suburban Records, the Management of Yaa Pono seeks to clarify the matter in relation to his position in order to avoid further confusion. Invited to appear on the BBC\u2019s \u201cGlobal Beats\u201d program Pono performed \u201cI Dey Feel You Die\u201d as a personal request from BBC\u2019s DJ Rita Ray, who loves the musicality, and sentiment of the song. At no point during his interview with Rita did Pono claim the song.
