Africa\u2019s biggest content showcase conference has opened in the plush Trou Aus Biches Spa and hotel in Mauritius.<\/p>\n

The event being organized by Africa\u2019s leading pay television provider, Multichoice Africa, will showcase local and international content that Multichoice Africa has to offer through its brands DStv and GOtv.<\/p>\n

About 200 people including representatives from different local and international channels on DStv including BBC, CNN, Super Sport, Channel O, M-Net, Africa Magic, MTV base etc as well as celebrities from across the continent are attending the conference.<\/p>\n

Other attendees include some of the finest journalists and bloggers in Africa.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the launch the CEO of Multichioce Africa Nico Meyer said Multi choice is a pan African company that believes in uniting Africans to address the social and economic needs facing the continent.<\/p>\n

Multi choice Africa is the leading multi-channel, multi-platform pay-tv service provider in Africa.<\/p>\n

It delivers great television to viewers in 50 countries across sub-Saharan Africa and its adjacent Indian Ocean islans.<\/p>\n

The night was graced with some of the biggest movie and music stars in Africa including Nigeria\u2019s Rita Dominic and Tiwa Savage as well as Ghana\u2019s Majid Micheal and Sarkodie.<\/p>\n

The event which begun on the 24th<\/sup> of June will end on the 28th<\/sup> of June.<\/p>\n
