Management of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital is considering instituting\u00a0disciplinary action against the President of the Korle Bu Senior Staff Association(KOSSA), Charles Offei Palm.<\/p>\n
Mr. Offei Palm has been served with a letter asking him to explain why he failed to obey the laid down rules for addressing grievances at the hospital.<\/p>\n
Charles Offei Palm earlier told the media\u00a0that his life is in danger\u00a0after he allegedly received death threats from the Board Chairman, Edward Annan and the acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Rev. Albert Okpoti Botwchey.<\/p>\n
Mr Offei Palm, according to the management of the hospital, petitioned the president and invited the media to intervene in the internal affairs of the hospital by spreading such reports to the media.<\/p>\n
A query issued by the hospital noted that the President\u2019s action had created media appeal leading to the defamatory remarks and comments about management and board of the hospital.<\/p>\n
The letter noted that his action \u201cviolates the policy of the hospital\u201d<\/p>\n
It therefore asked the President to explain why a disciplinary action should not be taken against him for not following the hospital\u2019s policy of engaging the media.<\/p>\n
