{"id":272447,"date":"2016-11-28T15:02:13","date_gmt":"2016-11-28T15:02:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=272447"},"modified":"2016-11-28T15:02:13","modified_gmt":"2016-11-28T15:02:13","slug":"ndk-ahaman-energy-ministry-judgment-debt-case-adjourned","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/11\/ndk-ahaman-energy-ministry-judgment-debt-case-adjourned\/","title":{"rendered":"NDK, Ahaman &#038; Energy Ministry judgment debt case adjourned"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A commercial court in Accra has adjourned to December 9, 2016, hearing for a case involving NDK financial services and the state over the diversion of funds by the then Ministry of Energy.<\/p>\n<p>The court, Presided over by Justice Noble Jerome Nkrumah, suspended hearing following an agreement by the lawyers for both parties to that effect.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;5iKkAFwKG6ji2KrDTfbE623v6DAnB6AH&#8221;]NDK filed a contempt case against the Principal Accountant and Chief Director of the Ministry of Energy for failing to heed a court order to furnish it with details of accounts of payments made in breach of payment guarantees given to NDK Financial Services.<\/p>\n<p>Per the Supreme Court ruling, the two, should have filed the said accounts that were diverted to Ahaman Enterprise.
