{"id":271733,"date":"2016-11-26T06:23:38","date_gmt":"2016-11-26T06:23:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=271733"},"modified":"2016-11-26T06:23:38","modified_gmt":"2016-11-26T06:23:38","slug":"oti-bless-tours-upper-volta-to-inspect-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/11\/oti-bless-tours-upper-volta-to-inspect-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Oti Bless tours Upper Volta to inspect projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, John Oti Bless, is touring the northern part of the Volta Region inspecting ongoing projects under his ministry.<\/p>\n<p>The tour is, to among other things, afford the minister an opportunity to assess the progress of work on the various development projects initiated by the government.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/a71f78df-3596-438b-a04d-e999713277da.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-271745\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/a71f78df-3596-438b-a04d-e999713277da.jpg\" alt=\"a71f78df-3596-438b-a04d-e999713277da\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>John Oti Bless commenced his tour at the Jasikan District Assembly in the company of the Chief Executive Killian Abrampah where they inspected works on the new District Assembly Office Complex, a student dormitory for Okagyakrom Senior high school, a new District Police station and administration block as well as a 700-seater maternity block for the Jasikan District Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The New Maternity block which is 80percent completed according to the midwives in the hospital would bring much relief to them since the current facility is congested and has only two delivery beds serving expectant mothers in the entire district.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/b9693555-4ea2-4e57-813d-5611ff0db1f2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-271744\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/b9693555-4ea2-4e57-813d-5611ff0db1f2.jpg\" alt=\"b9693555-4ea2-4e57-813d-5611ff0db1f2\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The minister proceeded to the Biakoye, Kadjebi, Nkwanta North and South districts where he expected to perform similar function.<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s [Friday] visit is his second official visit to the region after assuming office.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/836ead06-be41-4ddd-92d9-035c31ebc469.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-271741\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/836ead06-be41-4ddd-92d9-035c31ebc469.jpg\" alt=\"836ead06-be41-4ddd-92d9-035c31ebc469\" width=\"600\" height=\"366\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The approval of the ministerial appointment of John Oti Bless was delayed for almost three months following allegations of contemptuous comments he made against the Chief Justice.<\/p>\n<p>Oti Bless in an interview with <strong>Citi\u00a0News<\/strong> has expressed satisfaction over the level of development in the area.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/91fa640d-cab8-46c3-afe8-de9de1e7b064.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-271740\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/91fa640d-cab8-46c3-afe8-de9de1e7b064.jpg\" alt=\"Oti Bless\" width=\"600\" height=\"419\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He added that as a grassroots man, much of his work in the ministry would be concentrated on enhancing the lives of the people.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: King Nobert Akpabli\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, John Oti Bless, is touring the northern part of the Volta Region inspecting ongoing projects under his ministry.
