{"id":269254,"date":"2016-11-17T06:18:42","date_gmt":"2016-11-17T06:18:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=269254"},"modified":"2016-11-17T06:18:42","modified_gmt":"2016-11-17T06:18:42","slug":"govt-secures-funds-for-pokuase-interchange","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/11\/govt-secures-funds-for-pokuase-interchange\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt secures funds for Pokuase Interchange"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Government has signed a loan agreement with the African Development Bank to provide 83 million dollars\u00a0 for the construction of the Pokuase Interchange as government provides 11 million dollars.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0 94 million dollar project is scheduled to commence\u00a0 in the first quarter of next year and will be completed after 36 months.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in Accra after signing the agreement, Finance Minister Seth Terkper \u00a0stated that the project includes several social amenities such as schools,hospitals and library hence the\u00a0 amount quoted.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citibusinessnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IMG_20161116_140027.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-65764\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-65764\" src=\"http:\/\/citibusinessnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IMG_20161116_140027.jpg\" alt=\"dav\" width=\"4160\" height=\"2336\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to him, this is the first time the African Development Bank is experiencing funding such road projects that involve the construction of schools, hospitals, markets and recreational centers in addition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis the first for the African Development Bank to be experimented in Ghana and they say they are going to take the model eslsewhere.
