A New Patriotic Party (NPP) youth activist; Richard Nyamah\u00a0says the party is handing the 2016 presidential elections on a silver platter to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).<\/p>\n
According to him, it is likely that President John Mahama and the NDC are rejoicing over the current conflicts within the NPP.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m sure President Mahama is probably at the Flagstaff House popping champagne as if he\u2019s won the World Cup because of what is going on,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Mr. Nyamah also urged NPP presidential aspirant, Alan Kyeremanten to disband a group called \u2018Get Alan Kyeremanten Elected (GAKE)\u2019 because their activities go contrary to the belief of Mr. Kyeremanten<\/span>.<\/p>\n He pointed out that the content of some<\/span> press statements issued by the group \u201cis so damning to Mr. Kyeremanten<\/span> himself, his personality and his philosophy.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the spokesperson for Mr. Kyeremanten<\/span>, Nana Ohene Ntow has vehemently denied allegations that Mr. Kyeremanten<\/span> has moles within the party.<\/p>\n Mr. Ntow<\/span> was convinced such allegations are aimed at tarnishing the image of Mr. Kyeremanten<\/span>.<\/p>\n \u201cI am lost for words that anybody would think up such a story; frame it up just to tarnish Alan Kyeremanten\u2019s image,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n According to him, Mr. Kyeremanten<\/span> has on no occasion caused any problems within the NPP and expressed worry that the constant spewing of such lies \u201care getting out of hand.\u201d<\/p>\n The former general secretary of the NPP noted that it is now almost \u201ccriminal for anybody to show his or her face openly\u201d in support of Alan Kyeremanten for<\/span> the NPP\u2019s presidential race.<\/p>\n He also questioned why certain individuals are linking the lawsuit brought against the party by the former Constituency Chairman for Central\u00a0Tongu<\/span>, David Hoezame to Mr. Kyeremanten<\/span>.<\/p>\n Mr.\u00a0Hoezame<\/span>\u00a0has sued the leadership of the party at the High Court for breach of the party\u2019s constitution.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t understand why if<\/span> somebody in the party feels aggrieved and goes to court, then that should be traced to the doorsteps of Alan.
