{"id":263616,"date":"2016-10-31T10:52:31","date_gmt":"2016-10-31T10:52:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=263616"},"modified":"2016-10-31T10:52:31","modified_gmt":"2016-10-31T10:52:31","slug":"we-see-you-we-see-corruption-samira-bawumia-to-ndc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/10\/we-see-you-we-see-corruption-samira-bawumia-to-ndc\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018We see you, we see corruption\u2019 \u2013 Samira Bawumia to NDC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The wife of running mate of the New Patriotic Party, Samira Bawumia has taken a swipe at the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) claiming they are corrupt.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, Ghanaians have only \u00a0experienced bad governance and incompetence under the NDC government.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2026You want us to see you, we see you but we see incompetence, we see you but we see corruption, we see you but we see bad management, we see you but we see bad governance, we see you but we want change, we see you but we want Ghana to move forward,\u201d Samira Bawumia made the claim while speaking at the party\u2019s Greater Accra Regional launch in the Tema East constituency on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>She also chastised the NDC government for spending GHc3.6 million of Ghana\u2019s oil revenue on branding some 116 Metro Mass Transit (MMT) buses.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-263453 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/npp-in-tema-east-4_900x540.jpg\" alt=\"npp-in-tema-east-4_900x540\" width=\"900\" height=\"540\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Bawumia said despite the saga they continue to waste taxpayer\u2019s money on giant bill boards and other party paraphernalia across the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNDC used millions of our monies on bus branding. Ghanaians wailed and advised the NDC to withdraw the contract but they didn\u2019t heed to the advice. Currently, NDC flags and Mahama\u2019s billboards all over, they\u2019ve branded every part of Ghana with Mahama\u2019s posters,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: Godwin A.
