Government has announced a financial package of GHC 100,000 to be awarded to anybody who can provide information leading to the arrest of the murderers of the Overlord of Bimbilla Naa Andani on Thursday.<\/p>\n
There were reports of renewed sporadic gunshots in Bimbila Township on Thursday which led to the murder of Naa Andani and three others.<\/p>\n
A statement signed by the Information Minister, Mahama Ayariga condemned the act adding that security has been beefed up in the area to prevent any reprisal attacks.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Below is the full statement<\/strong><\/p>\n GOVERNMENT OFFERS GHC 100,000 FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO THE ARREST OF THE MURDERERS OF THE OVERLORD OF BIMBILLA.<\/strong><\/p>\n Government has learnt with deepest regret the gruesome murder of the Overlord of Bimbilla Naa Andani and three others on Thursday.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is a dastardly and despicable crime that must be condemned in the strongest terms.<\/p>\n The Government wishes to express its deepest sympathies and condolences to the families of the Overlord and the other victims.<\/p>\n Our security agencies have already started investigations into this heinous crime and every effort is being made to bring the perpetrators to justice.
