Distributors of electronic appliances want the Energy Commission to intensify the regulation of the importation of substandard products unto the Ghanaian market.<\/p>\n
According to them, the situation has led to a relative increase in energy consumption.<\/p>\n
They further state that some of these products are not durable.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Citi Business News<\/strong>, the Chief Operations Officer of EDERICK, Gladstone Nyakutse said, effective supervision will protect consumers from the harmful effects of inferior products.<\/p>\n \u2018\u2019We are troubled by the second hand goods.
