The Minerals Commission has given the strongest indication yet for illegal miners still occupying the Obuasi concession, of AngloGold Ashanti, to evacuate the site or suffer ejection.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am not in the security service but eventually they will be moved. But unlike in those days that nobody was unsure whether they will be moved or not, I am sure they themselves know that they will definitely be moved,\u201d the CEO of the Minerals Commission, Dr. Toni Aubynn stated.<\/p>\n
The continuous stay of the informal miners has led to many altercations including the death of a Senior Manager, John Owusu and about 64 of the illegal miners.<\/p>\n
