{"id":259119,"date":"2016-10-17T15:17:03","date_gmt":"2016-10-17T15:17:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=259119"},"modified":"2016-10-17T15:17:03","modified_gmt":"2016-10-17T15:17:03","slug":"dkm-customers-pleased-with-amounts-received-from-official-liquidator","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/10\/dkm-customers-pleased-with-amounts-received-from-official-liquidator\/","title":{"rendered":"DKM customers pleased with\u00a0amounts received from Official Liquidator"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Customers of DKM Microfinance have expressed mixed reactions over the payments of their locked up cash by the Official Liquidator.<\/p>\n<p>Payments for the first batch of validated creditors commenced this morning at the eight selected branches of GCB Bank.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Citi Business News<\/strong> understands that at least 4000 customers will be paid each day starting from today until the final payments are concluded.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-64550 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/citibusinessnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/bolga-5.jpeg\" alt=\"bolga 5\" width=\"600\" height=\"417\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Some customers who have been speaking to Citi News\u2019 Upper East regional correspondent, Frederick Awuni maintained that they are pleased with the outcome of events.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was coerced to invest a total of 16,000 cedis which I had budgeted for some construction work\u2026 indeed I am happy even though this is half the total amount I invested with the company. I was given 8000 cedis and I think that it is better than those who will not be receiving anything for their locked up investments,\u201d one customer remarked.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-64549 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/citibusinessnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/bolga-4.jpeg\" alt=\"bolga 4\" width=\"600\" height=\"402\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Another opined,\u201cI had used my school fees to invest in DKM so I had to contract a loan to pay my fees; I am however happy that I have received the full amount even though it has delayed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Frederick Awuni also reports that hundreds of the expectant customers converged on the premises of the GCB Bank in anticipation of receiving their monies.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, each customer went through a confirmation process that lasted for about five minutes before finally being given the amount to be paid.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the spokesperson for some of the affected customers, Fred Kuuyine asserted that his members will only be satisfied when they receive their monies in full.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: Pius Amihere Eduku\/citibusinessnews.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Customers of DKM Microfinance have expressed mixed reactions over the payments of their locked up cash by the Official Liquidator.
