{"id":259047,"date":"2016-10-17T14:00:42","date_gmt":"2016-10-17T14:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=259047"},"modified":"2016-10-17T14:00:42","modified_gmt":"2016-10-17T14:00:42","slug":"reject-politicians-who-preach-tribal-politics-independent-candidate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/10\/reject-politicians-who-preach-tribal-politics-independent-candidate\/","title":{"rendered":"Reject politicians who preach tribal politics &#8211; Independent candidate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An independent candidate contesting the Wa West parliamentary seat, Patrick Farouk Bandanaa has charged the electorates in the area to vote against parliamentary aspirants who campaign on tribal lines in the run up to the December general elections.<\/p>\n<p>According to him tribal politics do not only divide the people but also serves as a means by which incompetent people get into the country&#8217;s legislature.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-259052 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Wa-west-Independent-candidate-3.jpg\" alt=\"wa-west-independent-candidate-3\" width=\"768\" height=\"432\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Farouk Bandanaa made the comments when he was addressing a teaming crowd of his supporters at Dorimo to mark his campaign launch.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Anybody who want to win this election must do so on hard work, competence and good track record not based on divisive, desperate comments. Tribal politics has no basis in our political dispensation.
