A New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential hopeful, Alan Kyeremanten will pick up his nomination forms at the party headquarters on Wednesday to contest the presidential primaries of the party.<\/p>\n

Mr. Kyeremanten will become the seventh person to have picked up forms to contest the December 6 primaries.<\/p>\n

There were earlier reports suggesting he was pulling out of the race, but his spokesperson, Nana Ohene Ntow has dismissed the reports.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Citi News,<\/strong> Ohene Ntow said the reports \u201care totally false. Alan has not decided to back down and he is going right ahead to pick up his forms Wednesday morning and he will be contesting.\u201d<\/p>\n

So far, six persons have picked up nomination forms to contest the elections.<\/p>\n

They are Nana Akufo-Addo; former Information Minister, Stephen Asamoah-Boateng, former Member of Parliament (MP) for Offinso North, Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, sitting MP for Asuogyaman, Kofi Osei-Ameyaw, his colleague MP for Mampong, Francis Addai Nimoh and former Attorner General, Joe Ghartey.<\/p>\n
