{"id":254095,"date":"2016-10-02T14:30:00","date_gmt":"2016-10-02T14:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=254095"},"modified":"2016-10-02T14:30:00","modified_gmt":"2016-10-02T14:30:00","slug":"shatta-wale-performs-at-inusah-fuseinis-campaign-launch-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/10\/shatta-wale-performs-at-inusah-fuseinis-campaign-launch-photos\/","title":{"rendered":"Shatta Wale performs at Inusah Fuseini&#8217;s campaign launch [Photos]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ghanaian dance hall artiste, Shatta Wale, was on Saturday night spotted performing in Tamale at the campaign launch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary \u00a0nominee for the Tamale Central constituency, Inusah Fuseini.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_254135\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-254135\" style=\"width: 720px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-254135 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Shatta-Tamale-NDC.jpg\" alt=\"shatta-tamale-ndc\" width=\"720\" height=\"960\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-254135\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Shatta Wale<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The artiste, who has <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/09\/23\/im-here-to-entertain-not-endorse-political-parties-shatta-wale\/\">declared his resolve not to endorse any political party<\/a><\/strong><\/span> ahead of the 2016 general elections, was seen charging up thousands of fans and party supporters at the Tamale Jubilee Park\u00a0together with famed Tamale-based\u00a0artiste, Fancy Gadam.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_254136\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-254136\" style=\"width: 543px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-254136\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Fancy-Gadam-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Fancy Gadam \" width=\"543\" height=\"407\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-254136\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Fancy Gadam<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Shatta Wale performed some of his many hit songs as the crowd cheered and sang along with him.<\/p>\n<p>He assured fans in Tamale that he will do whatever it takes within his means bring the two rivals in the area, Fancy Gadam and Maccassio together, while calling on the fans to join him promote peace before, during and after the upcoming elections.<\/p>\n<p>Shatta Wale in a Facebook post last week said, \u201c\u2026I will not endorse any political party or its candidate but rather preach peace and entertain their gathering!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn times like these, when the political climate is about to be heated up, we need to intensify our campaign for peace.\u00a0For this reason, Shatta Wale will take advantage of any stage presented by any political party or movement to preach peace and stability in the country before, during and after the election.\u00a0I\u2019m a musician and a performer and if they require my services to entertain their following, that is strictly business.
