According to the Eastern Regional Coordinator of NADMO, Ransford Owusu Boakye, they are\u00a0hopeful the assessment would be concluded later today [Monday] before relief items are distributed to the affected families.<\/p>\n
A freelance journalist, Ferdinand Akuffo Baah, told Citi News<\/strong> areas such as Nsukwa, Kenkey factory road, a\u00a0bridge and a Church of Pentecost building on that stretch were badly affected.<\/p>\n\u2018Meteorological service warning\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Ghana Meteorological Agency on Saturday warned of a storm in Accra, but it is unclear whether that also affected parts of the Eastern Region.<\/p>\n
