The National Democratic Congress will today begin its \u201cSetting the Records Straight\u201d series ahead of this year\u2019s election.<\/p>\n
Every election year, the party organizes a series of press conferences to address pertinent issues ahead of the polls.<\/p>\n
The programme was scheduled to be held on\u00a0 last Wednesday but was moved\u00a0to today because of party\u2019s Manifesto launch .<\/p>\n
Besides the press conferences, the \u201cSetting the Records Straight\u201d series would also be addressing the general public in a number of town hall meetings.<\/p>\n
Today\u2019s event\u00a0 will be held at the party\u2019s Headquarters in Accra .<\/p>\n
Officials expected to attended are the \u00a0Transport\u00a0 Minister\u00a0 Fifi Kwetey, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, former Minister for Youth and Sports; Okudzeto Ablakwa, Deputy Minister for Education and Emmanuel Kofi-Armah Buah, Minister for Petroleum.<\/p>\n
The rest are Ato Forson, Deputy Minister for Finance; Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Deputy Minister for Communications; Kwadwo Twum Boafo, the Executive Secretary of the Ghana Free Zones Board; Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Deputy Minister for Transport,\u00a0 Sam George and Emilia Arthur.<\/p>\n
The programme will also be broadcast \u00a0live on Citi FM at 4pm.<\/p>\n
