{"id":249104,"date":"2016-09-17T13:53:50","date_gmt":"2016-09-17T13:53:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=249104"},"modified":"2016-09-17T13:53:50","modified_gmt":"2016-09-17T13:53:50","slug":"ndc-manifesto-launch-underway-after-downpour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/09\/ndc-manifesto-launch-underway-after-downpour\/","title":{"rendered":"NDC manifesto launch underway after downpour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The launch of the National Democratic Congress&#8217; manifesto ahead of the 2016 general elections, is currently underway at the Sunyani coronation park in the Brong Ahafo Region.<\/p>\n<p>This follows an early morning downpour that disrupted preparations at the event grounds, but according to <strong>Citi News<\/strong>&#8216; Fred Djabanor, the rain has subsided, enabling thousands of party supporters to troop to the park.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-249111\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/NDC-3.jpg\" alt=\"ndc-3\" width=\"750\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Some of the supporters who spoke to <strong>Citi News<\/strong> said they expect\u00a0their party\u2019s manifesto to have a blueprint for tackling the high unemployment rate in the country.<\/p>\n<p>The Brong Ahafo Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Party (NDC), Opoku Atuahene, told <strong>Citi News <\/strong>that\u00a0at least 60,000 party supporters from across the country are expected at\u00a0the launch.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-249109\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/NDC-1.jpg\" alt=\"ndc-1\" width=\"750\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are expecting between 60 to 70,000 people to attend the programe this Saturday.
