The University Students Association of Ghana (USAG), has endorsed the Graduate Students Association of Ghana\u2019s (GRASAG) decision to picket at the Flagstaff House.<\/p>\n
This was carried in a release signed by the Association\u2019s President, Henry Nkosuo.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”sSdjXPLwoYQFu4VFmjC5okV4JEvLphxF”]GRASAG has threatened to picket at the Flagstaff House next week over government\u2019s delay in releasing bursary and thesis grant, amounting to over GH\u20b54 million, due them for their research work.<\/p>\n
USAG in the statement said it will \u201cwholeheartedly support the action of GRASAG…in order for what is due them to be paid with immediate effect.\u201d<\/p>\n
Below is the full release:<\/strong><\/p>\n USAG ENDORSES THE GRASAG ACTION TO PICKET THE FLAGSTAFF HOUSE<\/strong><\/p>\n The recent course of events and actions of the Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana (GRASAG) concerning their unduly delayed and legitimate payment of their Bursary and Thesis Grant on the part of government has caused us to join in their struggle.
