{"id":247729,"date":"2016-09-13T05:58:45","date_gmt":"2016-09-13T05:58:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=247729"},"modified":"2016-09-13T05:58:45","modified_gmt":"2016-09-13T05:58:45","slug":"mahama-to-give-highlights-of-ndc-manifesto-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/09\/mahama-to-give-highlights-of-ndc-manifesto-today\/","title":{"rendered":"Mahama to give highlights of NDC manifesto today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President John Dramani Mahama will today [Tuesday], present to a cross-section of Ghanaians, the highlights of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Manifesto for 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The event, arranged as a prelude to the main launch of the Manifesto on Saturday September 17, at Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region, will also be attended by representatives of International Organizations, the Diplomatic Corps, Business Associations and Youth Groups.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;peIbCd9Aku9ZENL9AwAXyYxifv0yHqHq&#8221;]Today\u2019s event will be held at 7:00pm at the State Banquet Hall, State House, Accra.<\/p>\n<p>A statement signed by Joyce Bawah Mogtari, spokesperson for the NDC\u2019s 2016 campaign team sad the presentation of the highlights \u201cis intended to give the public an insight into the focus areas of the 2016 NDC Manifesto.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the \u2018Green Book\u2019 effectively outlining the key policies we have implemented and the projects arising out of these policies, President Mahama will use the occasion to explain his vision for the next four years, and provide details of the key interventions he will be implementing in his second term,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ll first release highlights of NDC manifesto The NDC Campaign Coordinator, Kofi Adams last week told the Citi Breakfast Show team that the party will first release the manifesto highlights before publishing the full document.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe NDC decided that for highlights of the manifesto we could do it in a week day, considering the fact that all these activities are being occupied with one major event or the other.
