{"id":24629,"date":"2014-06-13T13:11:32","date_gmt":"2014-06-13T13:11:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=24629"},"modified":"2014-06-13T13:11:32","modified_gmt":"2014-06-13T13:11:32","slug":"re-instate-our-minister-or-face-our-wrath-group-to-mahama","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/06\/re-instate-our-minister-or-face-our-wrath-group-to-mahama\/","title":{"rendered":"Re-instate our Minister or face our wrath \u2013 Group to Mahama"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A group calling itself the Upper East Association has given President Mahama an ultimatum to re-instate Dr. Ephraim Avea Nsoh as the Upper East Regional Minister by the close of Friday or face the wrath of the Youth in the Upper East region.<\/p>\n<p>According to the group, the former Regional Minister initiated a number of developmental projects that were beneficial to residents in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Ephraim Avea Nsoh was relieved of his post as the Upper East Regional Minister in the President\u2019s latest reshuffle.<\/p>\n<p>The group warned of a massive demonstration to register their displeasure if President Mahama fails to grant their request.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c We have given the President a mandate, what we can do is that we will follow this with a demonstration,\u201d the first Deputy Organizer of the Association, Mr. Nicholas Awuse said.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to <b>Citi News<\/b>, Mr. Awuse also expressed his worry about the consistent reshuffling of Ministers in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Awuse revealed that Regional Ministers in the region have consistently been transferred or reshuffled to other areas since 1992.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the continuous reshuffle will affect the development and the stability of the region.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>By: Marian Efe Ansah\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A group calling itself the Upper East Association has given President Mahama an ultimatum to re-instate Dr. Ephraim Avea Nsoh as the Upper East Regional Minister by the close of Friday or face the wrath of the Youth in the Upper East region.
