The National Democratic Congress (NDC), will release highlights of its manifesto before publishing the full document according to the party\u2019s Campaign Coordinator, Kofi Adams.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the Citi Breakfast Show<\/strong>, he indicated that on September 12 or 13, the NDC will release highlights of the manifesto and subsequently launch the full document a week later.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”FIUZKtCwAfqyQv6ha6HXDiIoXOnWHKFk”]Aside\u00a0from the Progressive People\u2019s Party (PPP), all the other major political parties are yet to launch their manifestos with about three months to the elections; raising concerns from some stakeholders and civil society groups.<\/p>\n The NDC had earlier said that, it would launch its manifesto three weeks after its\u00a0campaign launch on August 14, but Kofi Adams stated that \u201ccircumstances beyond our control have affected that launch.\u201d<\/p>\n Nonetheless, he still\u00a0reiterated the NDC’s assertions that their manifesto has been long ready.<\/p>\n According to him,\u00a0given the schedule of the party flagbearer, President John Mahama, the NDC\u00a0\u201cdecided that\u00a0for\u00a0highlights of the manifesto we could do it in a week day, considering the fact that all these activities are being occupied with one major event or the other.
