The General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has refuted claims that his party is waiting for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to release its manifesto in order to steal their ideas.<\/p>\n
Several communicators of the major opposition party have on numerous occasions accused the NDC of plagiarizing its\u00a0ideas and policies.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”1s9ivkGk4PvCoTbsNnVlZcUGiydIwWGU”]But speaking at the inauguration of a Campaign Task-force and the commissioning of a new regional office in the Volta Region, Asiedu Nketia said, his party rather acts as pacesetters for others.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have heard so many people say that NDC is waiting for NPP before we release our manifesto. We don\u2019t learn from losers. We set the pace. I repeat NDC does not learn from losers. We rather set the pace for them to copy\u201d.<\/p>\n
The NDC General Secretary also urged Ghanaians to desist from comparing the NDC to other political parties as it had its own unique ways of going about activities.<\/p>\n
\u201cNobody should be comparing us, our timing and programming has nothing to do with the NPP. We go according to our own plan.\u201d<\/p>\n
