The man who was at the center of the Ghc51.2 million judgement debt, Alfred Agbesi Woyome, was today [Sunday],\u00a0spotted at the inauguration of the governing National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) Volta Regional campaign task-force in Ho.<\/p>\n

\"ndc<\/p>\n

The task-force, which is being led by the party\u2019s Director of International Relations, Kofi Attoh, is aimed at championing the NDC\u2019s campaign in the region.<\/p>\n

Mr. Woyome, who’s a known financier of the NDC, was\u00a0on March 10, 2016, cleared by the Court of Appeal of any criminal offence in the payment of the money.<\/p>\n

But opposition parties have largely accused government of pretentiously putting forward a weak case ostensibly to free Mr. Woyome who’s a crony.<\/p>\n

This is one of the rare moments Mr. Woyome has been\u00a0seen at a public event by his party, after\u00a0his long battle with the court.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by NDC\u2019s General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, Deputy General Secretary Koku Anyidoho, National Vice Chairman, Ofusu Ampofo, Director of international relations of the party Kofi Attoh,\u00a0 National youth Organiser and deputy, regional chairman, National Organiser, Kofi Adams, Joseph Amenowode, Dzifa Gomashie, Dzifa Ativor, among others.<\/p>\n

Confusion on NDC front<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some eleven executives of the party in the region had earlier threatened to boycott the inauguration on Friday over claims of sabotage in the formation of the task-force.<\/p>\n

However, Citi News<\/strong> has gathered that the impasse among the executives has been resolved amicably as they aggrieved persons attended the inauguration.<\/p>\n

Volta Region has been described as the \u201cworld bank\u201d of the NDC.<\/p>\n

\"ndc<\/p>\n

The party had earlier launched agenda one million votes in the region geared towards widening the winning vote gap for President John Mahama in the upcoming December 7 polls.<\/p>\n

The party, during the inauguration, also commissioned a new regional office at Ho.<\/p>\n
