{"id":242405,"date":"2016-08-24T06:16:39","date_gmt":"2016-08-24T06:16:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=242405"},"modified":"2016-08-24T06:16:39","modified_gmt":"2016-08-24T06:16:39","slug":"abudus-thank-mahama-for-giving-regent-four-wheel-drive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/08\/abudus-thank-mahama-for-giving-regent-four-wheel-drive\/","title":{"rendered":"Abudus thank Mahama for giving regent four-wheel drive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Abudu Royals in Dagbon have commended President John Dramani Mahama for giving their Regent, the Boling-Lana Mahamadu Abdulai, a four wheel drive.<\/p>\n<p>The Brand new Toyota Fortuner V8 with registration GN 7732-16 has been delivered to the Abudus Regent.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-242412 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/four-wheel-drive-for-regent-1.jpg\" alt=\"four wheel drive for regent (1)\" width=\"768\" height=\"432\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The gift is in fulfilment of President Mahama&#8217;s promise to give the Boling-Lana a ride to facilitate his movement.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Secretary to the Abudu Royals in Dagbon, Abdullah Abubakari Sadique at a news conference in Yendi on behalf of the Boling-Lana showed appreciation for the honour.<\/p>\n<p>He said the Abudu Royals remained committed to sustaining the peaceful coexistence in Dagbon.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-242411 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/four-wheel-drive-for-regent-6.jpg\" alt=\"four wheel drive for regent (6)\" width=\"768\" height=\"432\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Abdullah Abubakari Sadique however renewed calls on government to fulfill its promise to perform the final funeral rites of the late two overlords of Dagbon, Yaa-Naa Mahamadu Abdulai IV and that of Yaa-Naa Yakubu Andani II.<\/p>\n<p>He said the continuous delay in performing the final funeral rites of the late Yaa-Naa Mahamadu Abdulai IV remained a thorn in the flesh of the Abudu royals.<\/p>\n<p>He thereby emphasized the need for government to fully implement the roadmap needed for the restoration of unity and reconciliation in Dagbon.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We will like to urge him to continue to do what he wants to do for Dagbon and that is to perform the funerals of the late Yaa-Naa Mahamadu Abdulai IV and that of the late Yaa-Naa Yakubu Andani II.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-242409 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/four-wheel-drive-for-regent-4.jpg\" alt=\"four wheel drive for regent (4)\" width=\"600\" height=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The news conference according to Abdullah Abubakari Sadique was called to debunk a Metro TV reportage that some Abudu chiefs pressurized the Boling Lana to return the gift.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-242408 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/four-wheel-drive-for-regent-2.jpg\" alt=\"four wheel drive for regent (2)\" width=\"768\" height=\"432\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He described the report as a figment of somebody&#8217;s imagination and urged the media to treat it with the contempt that it deserves.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: Abdul Karim Naatogmah\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Abudu Royals in Dagbon have commended President John Dramani Mahama for giving their Regent, the Boling-Lana Mahamadu Abdulai, a four wheel drive.
