The running mate of the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwah has stated that the party will reserve a quota of government procurement for the training of Persons Living with Disabilities (PLDs) if they are elected into office.<\/p>\n
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who was in Medie in the Greater Accra Region on Wednesday, stated that an NPP government will establish a Training Institution and Scholarship Scheme purposely for Persons living with disabilities.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n To demonstrate the party\u2019s commitment to improving the lives of persons living with disabilities, he donated 20,000 Ghana Cedis for the completion of a training facility, which had been neglected due to a lack of funds.<\/p>\n The facility was being put up by the Future Life for the Disabled (FLD), a group of persons living with disabilities, which seeks to equip its members with technical skills to be productive.<\/p>\n
