This will make Tigo\u2019s service to its over 4million customers even more reliable and less vulnerable to interruptions caused by accidental or illegal cuts to its underground fibre cables.<\/p>\n<p>The rollout will begin in Takoradi and will be completed by end of October 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Future phases will include investment in additional coverage and capacity for Tigo\u2019s voice and Internet services.<\/p>\n<p>This is in addition to the investment in an extensive programme of staff training and the modernization and opening of new stores across the country.<\/p>\n<p>Tigo\u2019s General Manager, Roshi Motman, commented \u201cWith this investment we are demonstrating Tigo\u2019s commitment to keep improving the quality of its services to consumers. The company is going through a rapid transformation and these upgrades will enable us to become increasingly competitive and attractive to customers.
