When employees are happy and passionate about their jobs they give out their best and perform very well, but they will perform even better when they are well resourced at the office.<\/p>\n

Businesses increase their revenues and grow when little efforts consistently result in greater outputs. When employees become more efficient, the business realizes an increase in productivity.<\/p>\n

Technology (ICT) has become the tool that allows businesses to increase efficiency which reflects in productivity. Nonetheless, when the technology is rusty, efficiency drops and it affects productivity which reflects in low revenues.<\/p>\n

In this piece and other subsequent ones I\u2019ll discuss 3 key IT resources (the computer system, the software and the internet) that businesses must pay attention to and ensure its effectiveness at all times.<\/p>\n

The Computer Systems (Hardware)<\/strong><\/p>\n

More than 80% of employees in our modern offices use computers for the execution of their daily tasks. This means a sizeable level of revenue is dependent on the computers that the employees use.<\/p>\n

A computer that takes a minute to boot and runs fast is obviously better and helps to achieve results faster than one that takes almost 10 minutes to boot and runs slow. It gets even worse when the computer is not only slow but also http:\/\/buycialisquality.com<\/a> breaks down often.<\/p>\n

On the average your staff will do not less than a thousand (1000) mouse clicks a day on their PCs; either to open a folder, a document, an App, a browser, a formatting tool from a program, or even to draw or select a text, print, etc. Ideally a good PC should not take more than half a second to respond to such commands.<\/p>\n

Some PCs take 5 secs just to open a word document and probably 10 secs to fully display a webpage. This means the company wastes up to 9 secs on every mouse click. This may not seem like a worry but when multiplied by the number of clicks and the number of staff with such rusty computers shows a huge loss to your company.<\/p>\n

The first IT resource to consider when thinking efficiency in your business is your employees\u2019 PCs.<\/p>\n

Businesses dedicate efforts and resources to solve problems for the society and its people and then they get paid for the problems they solve. Equipping employees with the best technology resources is a sure way to increase efficiency and get things done quickly for the business.<\/p>\n
