President John Dramani Mahama, has officially launched the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) campaign for the\u00a02016\u00a0election.<\/p>\n

President Mahama declared the campaign duly launched at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Sunday, where thousands of party members including the party Founder, Jerry John Rawlings gathered.<\/p>\n

[contextly_sidebar id=”BIrQZKDpR60RjvFzS0ArudqdLXeFGCt9″]The NDC said the campaign will reflect its achievements and what it intends to do given another term in office.<\/p>\n

President Mahama\u2019s running mate, Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur as well as the party\u2019s national campaign team and parliamentary candidates were also outdoored.<\/p>\n

The party said the choice of the Central Region for the campaign launch, was a tribute to the late former President, John Evans Atta Mills, who hails from the region, four years after his passing.<\/p>\n

The campaign launch, themed \u201cChanging Lives, Transforming Ghana\u201d,\u00a0will be followed by the party’s manifesto launch which the General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia said may happen in Sunyani, the Brong Ahafo Regional capital.<\/p>\n

Launching the campaign, President Mahama urged all party members to work to retain the party in \u00a0office.<\/p>\n

He noted that the NPP is disunited and cannot govern the country should they be voted for.<\/p>\n
