Some residents of Ho, the Volta Regional capital,\u00a0were on the streets of \u00a0the town on Friday, to commend\u00a0President John Mahama and the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the \u2018exceptional\u2019 developmental projects executed in the region.<\/p>\n
The crowd mostly sympathizers of the ruling NDC, embarked on a walk through the principal streets of the regional capital holding placards expressing their gratitude to the government.<\/p>\n
The walk dubbed \u201cVolta Appreciates JM\u201d took them through the market lane, Dome to Civic Centre where they converged on the Nfojo Park.<\/p>\n
In an interview with Citi News<\/strong>, an organizer of the event, Ransford Delali Kasu, said the region has seen an unprecedented facelift in the current administration, adding that it was necessary to show gratitude to President John Dramani<\/p>\n \u201cWhat we are doing today is a way of saying thank you to President for the numerous developmental projects carried out in the region. Volta Region has had its share of the national cake.
