Hundreds of Ghanaians in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, led by the Regional branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the Ashanti Regional Parliamentary Caucus on Tuesday marched through streets of the city to protest the current state of the economy.<\/p>\n
The demonstration, dubbed \u201cYa y3 den\u201d demonstration is to register the party\u2019s\u00a0displeasure\u00a0over what they\u00a0describe as\u00a0unbearable hardship in the region.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n According to Citi News<\/strong>\u2019 Ashanti Regional Correspondent, Hawa Iddrisu, \u201cmost of the demonstrators wore black and red attire, while others also carried placards with the inscription \u2018Ghana abr3\u2019, \u2018Stop the suffering\u2019, \u2018Asante\u2019s are suffering\u2019 among others.\u201d<\/p>\n
