The Progressive People\u2019s Party(PPP) has denied reports alleging that the party\u2019s flagbearer, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom snubbed chiefs of Adansi in the Ashanti Region last Sunday during his visit to the region.<\/p>\n
The Daily Guide newspaper had reported that the chiefs were angry with Dr Nduom after he allegedly boycotted a durbar organized in his honour.<\/p>\n
Reports indicate that the chiefs beseeched Dr Nduom, following his absence from the durbar to demand answers for his actions.<\/p>\n
But the party\u2019s policy advisor, Kofi Asamoah Siaw, in response, denied these allegations, saying the party was rather expected to pay courtesy call chiefs in the area and not attend a durbar as reported earlier.<\/p>\n
He further told Citi News<\/strong> that the party honoured the courtesy call and even used the opportunity to unveil their parliamentary candidate for the area.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a courtesy call on the chiefs in the Adansi area by the Progressive People\u2019s Party and we honoured that courtesy call by introducing our parliamentary candidate to them ahead of a rally that we wanted to do.
