Gbese Mantse, Nii Okaija III, has decried attempts to get President John Mahama to invoke his powers under Article 72 of the 1992 constitution, to release the Montie trio, who were jailed by the Supreme Court for contempt.<\/p>\n
Speaking on Eyewitness News<\/strong>, Nii Okaija III agreed with the decision taken by the Supreme Court saying,\u00a0\u201cas far as I\u2019m concerned, the Supreme Court judges were right in the judgement on the Montie FM case.\u201d<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”MhVazU3NdnGN3Tod2UZ7EdRWuFJyiIe9″]\u201cThe sentencing has been passed by very highly qualified judges, I have no qualms as to whether it is too lenient or not\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
