The Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), has received from the Convention People’s Party’s (CCP), Youth League, the ‘better and further particulars’ it requested from the group, following their petition for a probe into President John Mahama’s acceptance of a Ford Expedition gift from a Burkina contractor.<\/p>\n
The youth league of the CPP earlier wrote to CHRAJ demanding an investigation into circumstances surrounding the matter, but was\u00a0asked by\u00a0the Commission to provide concrete evidence that the President\u00a0erred in accepting the gift apart from the claims published in the media.<\/p>\n
