{"id":23229,"date":"2014-06-06T18:14:24","date_gmt":"2014-06-06T18:14:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=23229"},"modified":"2014-06-06T18:14:24","modified_gmt":"2014-06-06T18:14:24","slug":"fcp-premier-league-bad-business-cost-us-amidaus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/06\/fcp-premier-league-bad-business-cost-us-amidaus\/","title":{"rendered":"FCP Premier League: &#8220;Bad business cost us&#8221;- Amidaus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Amidaus Professionals have blamed poor player acquisitions for the relegation from the First Capital Plus Premier League this season.<\/p>\n<p>The team finished 16th on the log with 33 points after starting well in the league this term but the team&#8217;s manager Sherrif Sulley told Citi Sports on Friday, the poor form leading to relegation was the result of the wrong players signed in the transfer window.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We did not plan on getting relegated at the end of the season because no team thinks of such things. However, we did not bring in the right players and that really affected us in the season. The decisions behind the signings were not good and we paid for them.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sulley indicated that Amidaus lost Selassie Adjei and Emmanuel Hayford to Hearts of Oak before the start and it seems the replacements they brought in were not up to the task.<\/p>\n<p>He went to reveal that the club would hope to return to the top-flight from the Division One League as soon as possible but they would be guided by their experience in the Premier League.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Definitely, we will take part in the Division One and we will work hard to get us back in the league. We will meet and take stock of our season, bring in better players than we did previously and try to come back stronger.
