The Electoral Commission (EC) has given the assurance that it will delete names of other NHIS registrants whose names were not captured on the list of 56,000 presented to the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n
The Commission, on Tuesday indicated that, the names of the 56,000 voters who had been captured on the register with the National Health Insurance card as proof of Ghanaian citizenship, had been deleted in compliance<\/strong><\/span><\/a> with the Supreme Court\u2019s order.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”idwmqBjKxOTyqYPfA2Yl7ICqYynxAlQF”]But speaking at a press conference organized by the Commission on Wednesday, the Director of Electoral Services at the EC, Mr. Samuel Tetteh said \u201cany other NHIS card registrant who is found apart from the list which was presented by the Supreme Court will also be deleted.\u201d<\/p>\n He said the Commission only deleted the names of persons it was convinced had registered with NHIS cards.<\/p>\n
