{"id":22794,"date":"2014-06-05T08:50:34","date_gmt":"2014-06-05T08:50:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=22794"},"modified":"2014-06-05T10:30:00","modified_gmt":"2014-06-05T10:30:00","slug":"flood-alert-teshie-nungua-road-flooded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/06\/flood-alert-teshie-nungua-road-flooded\/","title":{"rendered":"Flood alert:  Teshie-Nungua road flooded"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thursday morning\u2019s rain is said to have caused severe flooding on the Teshie- Nungua road.<\/p>\n<p>Houses in the area and the main road have all been affected by the flooding.<\/p>\n<p>A commuter who gave her name as Lamisi on the <strong>Citi Breakfast Show<\/strong> reported that motorists are being forced to go through the floods \u201cand the water is almost close to the window level.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG-20140605-WA0004.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22800\" alt=\"IMG-20140605-WA0004\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG-20140605-WA0004.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"524\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG-20140605-WA0004.jpg 450w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG-20140605-WA0004-257x300.jpg 257w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a>The flood according to her has reached \u201cabove the lintel of the houses. It is a terrible and scary situation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lamisi also mentioned that the intersection in front of the Kofi Annan Training Center on the Teshie-Nungua road is flooded.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG-20140605-WA00071.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22796\" alt=\"IMG-20140605-WA0007\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG-20140605-WA00071.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"493\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG-20140605-WA00071.jpg 450w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG-20140605-WA00071-273x300.jpg 273w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a>\u201cThe roads and the drains there are all flooded. It\u2019s terrible so please I would like to urge motorists not to use the road.
