{"id":227776,"date":"2016-07-04T08:51:40","date_gmt":"2016-07-04T08:51:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=227776"},"modified":"2016-07-04T08:51:40","modified_gmt":"2016-07-04T08:51:40","slug":"ecg-revises-tariff-introduces-subsidies-full-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/07\/ecg-revises-tariff-introduces-subsidies-full-list\/","title":{"rendered":"ECG revises tariff; introduces subsidies [Full list]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has revised utility tariffs in the country.<\/p>\n<p>The company has in the new tariffs introduced new subsidies to cushion level consumers of electricity.<\/p>\n<p>A statement from the company said: \u201cthe Electricity Company of Ghana Limited wish to inform their cherished customers that the utility relief by Government of Ghana is being implemented and therefore the \u2018reckoner\u2019will guide Customers on money paid and the corresponding units to customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The statement added that \u201cthe new reckoner [a table or device designed to assist with calculation] incorporates the directive for ECG to make the applicable electricity rate for 0-50 units of consumption inclusive so that all residential customers will enjoy the rate for lifeline customers.
