{"id":224745,"date":"2016-06-23T11:20:52","date_gmt":"2016-06-23T11:20:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=224745"},"modified":"2016-06-23T11:20:52","modified_gmt":"2016-06-23T11:20:52","slug":"yea-hits-70-of-100000-fresh-recruits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/06\/yea-hits-70-of-100000-fresh-recruits\/","title":{"rendered":"YEA hits 70% of 100,000 fresh recruits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has so far hit 70% of its target of recruiting about 100,000 new recruits into the various modules.<\/p>\n<p>This, according to the Northern Regional Coordinator, Tanko Rashid is in line with government\u2019s agenda to drastically reduce the nation\u2019s soaring youth unemployment.<\/p>\n<p>He brought this to the fore in Tamale at a media briefing on the YEA\u2019s modus operandi by a Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of operations, Luke Ayamga Atazana.<\/p>\n<p>Tanko Rashid reaffirmed the YEA\u2019s commitment to revive the Arabic Instructors module.<\/p>\n<p>He pledged healthier collaboration with the media to positively portray the YEA.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-224746 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/YEA-north-1.jpg\" alt=\"YEA north (1)\" width=\"720\" height=\"836\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Luke Ayamga Atazana who is on nationwide tour explained that all the new modules have been designed to meet community needs.<\/p>\n<p>He encouraged interested applicants to take advantage of the YEA modules and gain skill and manpower training.<br \/>\nLuke Atazana disclosed that 20,000 recruits under the Community Health Assistants module have been adequately prepared for postings.<\/p>\n<p>He revealed the YEA\u2019s resolve to pay all former recruits their ex-gratia through the banks.<\/p>\n<p>He gave the assurance that strict measures have been put in place to check financial leakages which affected the functions of the previous National Youth Employment Programme.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: Abdul Karim Naatogmah\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has so far hit 70% of its target of recruiting about 100,000 new recruits into the various modules.
