The Zimbabwean Ambassador to Ghana, Pavelyn Tendai Musaka, has tasked businesses in the private sector to step in to facilitate economic growth in African countries.<\/p>\n
The Ambassador believes the negligence of some government institutions as well as the lackadaisical attitude of some personnel in government agencies should be blamed for the continent\u2019s dwindling financial resources.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe need more support from all the strategic stakeholders without any hesitation. As it is now, it is an open secret that the majority of the government institutions are all experiencing dwindling financial resources,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n
Pavelyn Musaka who argues that strategic stakeholders in the private sector must re-strategize to fully recover African assets and save it from a further decline, also advocated a collaboration between the private and public sectors to revamp Africa\u2019s resources to the advantage of all.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs such the private sector and public sector partnership is an option on condition that the ground rules are laid out in a transparent way as it remains the only alternative to any diplomatic mission which is determined to produce tangible results in the promotion of economic diplomacy under a very tight budget.\u201d<\/p>\n
Pavelyn Tendai Musaka advised African countries to be innovative in their work output to facilitate a turnaround should the private sector participation be fully adhered to and implemented.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile Ambassador Tendai Musaka has urged African leaders to work to produce good results irrespective of the available budget.<\/p>\n
According to her, placing the job and target first will go a long way to improve the achievement of African countries tremendously.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll our embassies around the world are under the directive to produce tangible results, without any excuse and irrespective of minimum resources available. It is about time we take things more seriously and work together to achieve a better Africa for us all,\u201d the Ambassador further stressed.<\/p>\n
