President John Dramani Mahama will today [Friday] June 17, join hundreds of mourners at Busunu in the Northern Region, for his late mother’s burial.<\/p>\n
President Mahama and family elders will accompany the remains to Busunu for the burial in accordance with Islamic tenets.<\/p>\n

The late Hajia Abiba Nnaba, who according to a family source was bed ridden,\u00a0died in Accra<\/strong><\/a><\/span> on Tuesday.<\/p>\n High profile personalities within and outside the country, have consoled the President on his mother’s demise.<\/p>\n They include Ghana’s main opposition leader, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, founder of the Progressive Peoples Party leader, Dr. Paa Kwesi Ndoum, former Presidents John Kufuor and Jerry John Rawlings.<\/p>\n
