{"id":22193,"date":"2014-06-02T20:04:33","date_gmt":"2014-06-02T20:04:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=22193"},"modified":"2014-06-02T20:04:33","modified_gmt":"2014-06-02T20:04:33","slug":"tecno-wins-smart-phone-of-the-year-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/06\/tecno-wins-smart-phone-of-the-year-award\/","title":{"rendered":"TECNO wins smart phone of the year award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TECNO Mobile, the leading dual Sim-mobile phone manufacturer, last Saturday, May 31, 2014 swept the two Awards for the Mobile handheld device categories at this year\u2019s edition of the prestigious Ghana Telecom Awards.<\/p>\n<p>TECNO\u2019s flagship phone, <b>Phantom<\/b>, won <b><i>Smartphone of the Year award<\/i>,<\/b> while its distributing outlet Mobile Zone, won <b><i>Distributor of the Year<\/i><\/b><i> <\/i>award for the third-straight year.<\/p>\n<p>The win consolidates TECNO\u2019s ever-growing popularity in the Smartphone market locally as well as in and across Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Already the fastest growing mobile phone brand in Africa, the award re-affirms TECNO Mobile\u2019s strong hold on the market, which it has impressively led over the years. In line with its leadership status, TECNO Mobile has introduced the first 1.5 GHz, 6 Core Processor handheld device, the <b>TECNO R7,<\/b> onto the Ghanaian market.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited about this. My team has worked hard to make this happen,\u201d Maxwell Techie, CEO of TECNO Ghana said.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Maxwell Techie, whose business acumen has led to the company\u2019s growth over the years, has succeeded in making a stronger case for indigenous local business. He adds: \u201cThis would encourage us to do more.
