The Asamoah Gyan Foundation has commissioned a mechanized borehole at the St. Francis Training College in Hohoe in honour of the late mother of the footballer, Madam Cecilia Love Gyan Baffour Mensah.<\/p>\n
The commissioning was done by Mr. George Baffour Gyan Mensah,father of Asamoah Gyan.<\/p>\n
The CEO and other members of the Foundation, Mr.Samuel Anim Addo, Prince Randy Opoku-Afriyie, Nathaniel Laryea, Benjamin Owusu Ansah and the Gyan family were also present at the occasion.<\/p>\n
Mr. Anim Addo reiterated the foundation’s commitment to touching the lives of residents in the community through the blessing God has bestowed on the footballer.<\/p>\n
Addressing students at the college’s auditorium, the principal of the school lauded the foundation’s work and said they were grateful for the intervention.<\/p>\n
He pleaded for support in the area of sports especially football, saying “We need a good field to benefit our status as soccer champions of the Volta region.”<\/p>\n
He also commended the foundation and Captain of the Blacks Stars team for his kind gesture.<\/p>\n
