{"id":220653,"date":"2016-06-08T07:18:16","date_gmt":"2016-06-08T07:18:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=220653"},"modified":"2016-06-08T07:18:16","modified_gmt":"2016-06-08T07:18:16","slug":"citi-fm-set-to-discover-new-talents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/06\/citi-fm-set-to-discover-new-talents\/","title":{"rendered":"Citi FM set to discover new talents"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Accra\u2019s favorite radio station, <strong>Citi FM<\/strong>, is giving its audience and music lovers an opportunity to participate in this year\u2019s edition of their reality talent hunt show, the Voice Factory.<\/p>\n<p>The third edition, dubbed &#8216;The Gospel Edition,&#8217; will have 10 lucky contestants compete weekly, over a period of 12 weeks, for the ultimate prize of GH\u00a25,000.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the event, the Programmes Manager at Citi FM, Jessica Opare Saforo, has explained that this year\u2019s edition of the contest is aimed at discovering people who have a love for the Gospel genre of music, as part of\u00a0<strong>Citi FM<\/strong>\u2019s contribution towards growing the industry.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-large wp-image-220655 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Voice-Factory-Flier-614x1024-614x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Voice-Factory-Flier-614x1024\" width=\"614\" height=\"1024\" \/><\/p>\n<p>She said that the station, which is firmly rooted in Christian values, has decided to put a twist on this year\u2019s Voice Factory contest, as opposed to the other editions which were more &#8220;free style.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA lot of our programmes and content that we have on air, includes music, so the Voice Factory is our way of contributing to discovering talent for the music industry. We are looking for people who wouldn\u2019t mind churning out the gospel genre of music. And there\u2019s no catch!
