{"id":219812,"date":"2016-06-05T06:31:15","date_gmt":"2016-06-05T06:31:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=219812"},"modified":"2016-06-05T06:31:15","modified_gmt":"2016-06-05T06:31:15","slug":"nib-holds-agm-in-accra-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/06\/nib-holds-agm-in-accra-photos\/","title":{"rendered":"NIB holds AGM in Accra (photos)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The National Investment Bank, (NIB) has held its Annual General Meeting in Accra.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-56729 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/citibusinessnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/NIB-AGM-9.jpg\" alt=\"NIB AGM (9)\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The event saw shareholders of the bank approving majority of the proposed amendments tabled by management and board of the bank.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-56730 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/citibusinessnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/NIB-AGM-13.jpg\" alt=\"NIB AGM (13)\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The bank recorded a significant improvement over the previous years in all aspects.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-56737 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/citibusinessnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/NIB-AGM-39.jpg\" alt=\"NIB AGM (39)\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Net Profit after tax was GH\u00a2120.11 million for the year ended December 31, 2015 compared with GH\u00a2 79.39 million in 2014.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-56734 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/citibusinessnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/NIB-AGM-28.jpg\" alt=\"NIB AGM (28)\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This represented an increase of 51.27 percent, with customer deposit also increasing by 32.60 percent to GH\u00a2 1, 781.93 million in 2015 from GH\u00a2 1, 343.81 million recorded in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Also, the bank registered 14.45 percent growth in its total assets from GH\u00a2 2,319.57 million in 2014\u00a0 to GH\u00a2 2,654.69 million in 2015.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-56728 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/citibusinessnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/NIB-AGM-5.jpg\" alt=\"NIB AGM (5)\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Shareholders fund increased from GH\u00a2486.2 million in 2014 to GH\u00a2 543.18 million in 2015.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-56733 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/citibusinessnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/NIB-AGM-22.jpg\" alt=\"NIB AGM (22)\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Board Chairman of the bank, Togbe Afede XIV announced a dividend of GH\u00a2 0.06 per share which was agreed by the shareholders.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-56727 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/citibusinessnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/NIB-AGM-2.jpg\" alt=\"NIB AGM (2)\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: Lawrence Segbefia\/citibusinessnews.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Investment Bank, (NIB) has held its Annual General Meeting in Accra.
