The Northern Regional Security Council (REGSEC) has set up a seven member committee to investigate the renewed communal clash between two feuding Konkomba clans in the Gushiegu district.<\/p>\n
Within a limited time frame, the committee has been tasked to establish the ambiguity surrounding the renewed communal clash between two Konkomba clans at Biriyamba and Yiyamba settlements in the Gushiegu district.<\/p>\n
The committee is headed by Deputy Northern Regional Minister, Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Sagnarigu constituency.<\/p>\n
Other members of the committee include the three regional security commanders, District Chief Executive for Gushiegu and Members of Parliament for Gushiegu and Yunyoo who are both Konkombas.<\/p>\n
The committee\u2019s report is expected to ascertain the real cause of the renewed clash which might help REGSEC to determine the wayforward.<\/p>\n
Northern Regional Police Commander, DCOP Ken Yeboah on Saturday May, 31 visited the two troubled Biriyamba and Yiyamba farming on a fact finding mission.<\/p>\n
