Several motorists plying routes around the Movenpick-Ambassador Hotel in Accra are locked up in heavy traffic following the ongoing Economic Community Of West African States\u00a0(ECOWAS)\u00a0emergency meeting.<\/p>\n
Some West African heads of state were summoned to Accra by President John Dramani Mahama to discuss important issues affecting the sub-region including the Boko Haram threat in Nigeria.<\/p>\n
The ongoing conference has led to the Ghana Police cording off some principal routes as part of security measures put in place to protect the various head of states gathered at the Movenpick-Ambassador hotel.<\/p>\n
