The Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) has told an Accra High Court it is still investigating claims by mother of convicted drug courier, Nayele Ametefe that some assets earmarked for confiscation<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0do not belong to her daughter.<\/p>\n Nayele Ametefe’s mother initiated moves to prevent the state from confiscating one of the convicted drug courier’s properties at East Legon in Accra.<\/p>\n According to her, the said property belonged to her and not her daughter [Nayele].<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”21y7SYqotiZF6j7v9WnmcUqXZaYKt4se”]Her move follows a High Court order fortnight ago for confiscation of properties of Nayele Ametefe also known Ruby Adu-Gyamfi.<\/p>\n She is currently serving an eight years, eight months jail sentence in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n The assets the Accra High Court asked the state to confiscate include the Night Angels Enterprise on the Dzorwulu Motorway Extension in Accra.<\/p>\n Six different bank accounts of the convict with the Fidelity Bank and the East Legon house.<\/p>\n
